The Xcavater is a mechanical platform ideal for use in manually controlled robotics. It is a tank type drive system with robust body and a manipulator mounted on the top which has a 2 independent degree of freedom. It is a general purpose robotic platform for beginners and a scalable one for advanced users. Ideal for demonstrating and learning various kind of drives and motion transfer mechanisms
Robot features:
The Xcavater Bot is powered by 12V DC power supply or battery power supply.
- It is a 4 wheel differential drive system.
- Robust structure built on a rigid platform of mild steel
- Belt drive transmission system to transfer motion from rear wheels to the front wheels
- 1 worm gear box for pitching of manipulator arm.
- Nut and screw arrangement for pitching of bucket.
- Circlips for specific size shafts position locking (front wheel axle, manipulator and bucket link)
- Dimensions : Length = 250mm, Breadth = 200mm, Height = 350mm.
Electronic control:
- 1 remote control with 4 DPDT switches for 4 motors.
- 12 port connecter for motor connections with the remote.
- 10 wire set for connections
